IX FINA World Masters Swimming Championships in Christchurch on the 22st March to the 3rd April

The opening night is set to be a real treat, named "Welcome to New
Zealand, a taste of New Zealand food" is ato be held on Sunday the
24th of March and at the price of only $55 per head it will be an event not
to be missed.
Then theres the closing night, entitled "Gala Farewell Dinner" which
will cost $75 per head and will be your final chance to say goodbye to all your
newly made friends and celebrate the championships in true New Zealand style.
The 2002 World Masters Games is to be held from the 5th to the 13th of October 2002 in Melbourne.
Actual Competition Dates 7th to 13th October
Venue(s)
Pool Events: At the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Aughtie Drive, Albert
Park. Which are located 4 km from the city centre, very easily accessible by
tram, which if you don't know is the most commen form of publc transport used
in Melbourne.
Open Water Swim: Hazelwood Pondage, Morwell. Located 150km from city centre.

25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79,
80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99,
thereafter in 5 year increments.
Relay team combined ages: 100-119, 120-159, 160-199, 200-239, 240-279, 280-319,
320-359
thereafter in forty year increments as high as is necessary.
